Little Flying Demon

So my dear friends, a lot of time passed since my last update... a lot of things changed in my life, now I have a better job, a baby is coming in less than two month, I've restarted my fitness training and my life is getting better and better, so I've been very very busy and I had very little time to paint... anyway I managed to finish this cool little demon (it's about 5 cm tall) for the mega diorama entirely sculpted by Thor Creart: http://www.puttyandpaint.com/thor14

I will keep painting more cool stuff so come back to this page! :D

That's the whole diorama, my Little Flying Demon is the one on the top left.

Lt. Stephen Rao - wip #2

Second update with Stephen Rao from Corvus Belli - Infinity - PanOceania.
This model is really a pleasure to paint with a lot of finely sculpted details.
The legs and the torso are almost done, just few straps and gems to paint.

Maybe the pictures have a warmer tone than the real miniature...

Lt. Stephen Rao - wip #1

It's not a secret that my favorite line of miniature is Corvus Belli's Infinity (by the way they make the best miniature game too...), so while I'm still finishing the Nurgle Chaos Lord I've also started to paint a PanOceania character: Lt. Stephen Rao... yes it'a a cool PanOceania model, Operation Icestorm is incoming!
I've just started the armor, there is still a lot to do.
This model will be sold, so if you are interested send me a message.

Krom Dragongaze: wip #5

This update took me a lot of time. Damn, texturizing that cloak was really time consuming but I like a lot the final effect. Now I have to paint the other, black, side. I'll take step by step pictures to write a tutorial.

I'm starting to think to keep this model for me... it took me between 15 to 20 hours of painting to reach this stage, and selling it will not be a good deal for me :D

Krom Dragongaze: wip #1 & #2

Hi there, I'm posting in a single post the 2 steps of the wip of the new Space Wolf character Krom Dragongaze from the boxed set of Stormvlaw from Games Workshop.

Ok the idea was to finish the Nurgle Chaos Lord but then GW released the Stormclaw box aaand...
Krom Dragongaze, early wip of today painting session.
Lights, NMM, reflections... let's try them all.

I'm really happy of the result of this Ultramar... ehmm no wait! It's a Space Wolf!
Ok I'm joking, but as you can see I painted a very bluish Wolf, maybe it's because I've painted too many Ultramarines in the past or maybe because I want to create an ice cold feeling for this miniature, and the shadows made with a prussian blue felt good to me.
I really enjoyed
myself painting NMM parts, but they are very time consuming!

Anyway, the legs are painted. On the torso you will see a lot of Space Wolves stuff to give the right feeling to this model.

First step of the wip:

Space Hulk Ultramarine Terminator

It's done!
I really had a blast painting this Ultramarine Terminator Captain.
It's a pity that Games Workshop does not produce a kit for "Roman style" terminators, it would be perfect for Imperial Fists and Ultramarines I think. The standard termy set is getting too old...
Anyway if you have any questions just ask me
Of course this model is for sale. It will be on Ebay tomorrow (Monday) afternoon as usually.

Space Hulk Ultramarine Terminator - wip #4

New small update of my Ultramarine Terminator.
I've painted the scrolls, the back of the tabard, the Ultramarine logo on the shoulder pad and the black parts of the storm bolter.
I still have to think about something to paint on the knee pads... actually I have no idea!
...uh and of course I'd need a base too

As usually this model will be sold on Ebay once finished.

Space Hulk Ultramarine Terminator - wip #3

This model "rested" in the wip area of my cabinet for months... I think it's time to continue this miniature. As you can see it is a Space Hulk model modified with Forge World shoulder's pads.
Today I've started the weathering of the armor, there is still a lot to do anyway.
In the meanwhile I'm having a good time painting and listening the latest Adrenaline Mob album. :D

It was a quick job, made in less than a week and painted at a good tabletop level.

1st Highlander S.A.S - Infinity Ariadna - wip #1

New project started.

This time I'm painting an Corvus Belli Infinity 1st Higlander S.A.S. from the Ariadna faction.

I think that this company produces the best Sci-Fi minitures of the market. The game is awesome too (thake a look at the rules, they are free)!

I've also added a 1 cent coin to show the real size of this model... it's waaay smaller than a regular Games Workshop Space Marine.

Dwarf Rune Lord - wip #1

Fun with metals!!!
As you have already understood, I like to paint more miniatures together... so I've started a Games Workshop Dwarf Rune Lord! Yes no more Space Marines :D
It's always hard to take pictures to models with shaded metals, but I think the images resemble quite well the real miniature. Anyway the breastplate will be almost covered with the dwarvish beard!
I really enjoyed myself painting the vein on the arms/hands of the Rune Lord... without them it seemed to be too fat :D
I notice now that this dwarf look like an ancient Roman official. Cool!
