It's done!
I really had a blast painting this Ultramarine Terminator Captain.
It's a pity that Games Workshop does not produce a kit for "Roman style" terminators, it would be perfect for Imperial Fists and Ultramarines I think. The standard termy set is getting too old...

New small update of my Ultramarine Terminator.
I've painted the scrolls, the back of the tabard, the Ultramarine logo on the shoulder pad and the black parts of the storm bolter.
I still have to think about something to paint on the knee pads... actually I have no idea!
...uh and of course I'd need a base too

As usually this model will be sold on Ebay once finished.

This model "rested" in the wip area of my cabinet for months... I think it's time to continue this miniature. As you can see it is a Space Hulk model modified with Forge World shoulder's pads.
Today I've started the weathering of the armor, there is still a lot to do anyway.
In the meanwhile I'm having a good time painting and listening the latest Adrenaline Mob album. :D

I've just have to work on the shadows with oil colors. Maybe I'll do it after dinner.

Sometimes you have more time to paint, sometimes you do not have at all... but the passion never dies!
One month passed since my last update, but the Dark Angel Terminator Chaplain is almost finished!
I need to paint the storm bolter, the cloack, few details of the metal and the base.
As usually this model will be sold on eBay.

Second update with the Dark Angels Terminator Chaplain.
As you can see I'm still working on the armour, 70% done. I still have to paint the whole right leg and to add more black shadows.

Taking pictures of a black model is always very hard and I think it's even harder when you have painted only a tiny fraction of the whole model... anyway that my new model, a Dark Angels Terminator Chaplain.
I'll show you two shots, one with and another without the flash.

I've noticed that the new Games Workshop base colors are quite shiny, I've used a Caliban Green for the right shoulderpad.

Since in this period I'm not updating my blog very often, I've decided to post this small update of my Space Hulk Ultramarine Terminator.
The head and the torso are 70% done. I've also added a bit of shadows and of green oil filters to the armour.

Space Hulk Ultramarine Terminator - wip #1

New week, new WIP.
I've started one of the models in the Space Hulk boxed set, one of the amazing Terminators (maybe the best Games Workshop miniatures ever) but I've decided to paint it using the Ultramarine color scheme. I've made a little conversion removing some icons and the shoulder pads, replacing them with Forge World parts.
Anyway I've just put the base colors, and not everywhere actually, and gave a little lights to the armour. Still a huge lot to do :)

If you are wondering, yes, this model will be sold on E-Bay.
