Nurgle Chaos Lord

Finished!
The Nurgle Chaos Lord for Warhammer Fantasy, Games Workshop,  is ready.
I had a lot of fun painting and converting this model in a very "fantasy" way.
Since this miniature will probably be used for games (it will be on Ebay soon, or if you are interested send me a message) I've decided to keep the standard small square base, adding some extra nurglish stuff.
In the last picture you can see some of the details of the model.

Nurgle Chaos Lord - wip #03

Last update before the holidays! Sadly I could not finish to paint the model since I was very busy these days... anyway I'm not far from the end of this model.
As usually this miniature will be sold on Ebay once finished.

Nurgle Chaos Lord - wip #03

Ok, let's go on with the Nurgle Chaos Lord for Warhammer Fantasy. I'd like to finish this model by the end of the week, before my holiday, at least I'll finish one project.
I've started to paint the armour in a similar matt tone of green. I still have to work on the shadows. The right side is almost ready.
As you can see I've also removed the spikes on the shoulder and replaced them with big fat maggots...

Dwarf Rune Lord - wip #1

Fun with metals!!!
As you have already understood, I like to paint more miniatures together... so I've started a Games Workshop Dwarf Rune Lord! Yes no more Space Marines :D
It's always hard to take pictures to models with shaded metals, but I think the images resemble quite well the real miniature. Anyway the breastplate will be almost covered with the dwarvish beard!
I really enjoyed myself painting the vein on the arms/hands of the Rune Lord... without them it seemed to be too fat :D
I notice now that this dwarf look like an ancient Roman official. Cool!

Dark Elf Sorceress - wip #3

Third update with the Dark Elf Sorceress model from Games Workshop!
The upper part of the model is almost finished, I honly have to retouch a little the staff, the skirt and the hair.
I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with this model :)

Take a look at this model.

New update with this amazing Dark Elf model from Games Workshop!
I've finished the skintones and the hair and I've began to paint the metal "armour" using NMM technique.

No more talking. Pictures!

Dark Elf Sorceress - wip #1

This time I'm gonna paint something totally different, no more Ultramarine Space Marines instead I'm ruining a Warhammer Fantasy Dark Elf Sorceress. The new Games Workshop plastic characters are really amazing.

I'm trying to do something quite different from my usual approach; I'm emphasizing the volumes of the miniature and maybe the painting is not very clean.
I started from the base color, then I added the maximum light and the deepest shades and finally I began to paint intermediate tones in order to obtain, more or less, smoother transitions.

I think I'll try a NMM style on this Dark Elf.

Dwarf Lord

In this period I couldn't paint very much, hopefully I'll paint more from the beginning of November... Anyway I menage to finish this model in one week only, that is a kind of record for my average time :D
This model was painted for the "Golden Dwarf", a painting competition held in the GW Store of Milan, here in Italy. Sadly this model was shipped too late (I've sent it form Rome, where I live, to Milan) and I couldn't compete. A very special thanks to Fabrizio "Rusto" Russo who took care of this miniature.

In the article you will also find a 360° video and many stereoscopic pictures, so click on read more!

Wight King

New model painted, and this time it was not a Space Marine! :D
With the new wave of Undead from Games Workshop, I've painted the plastic Wight King of the Vampire Counts.

The model comes with a scenic base but you can remove it in order to use the miniature in the battlefield.
